The 3rd and final stop of the Red Bull Ronnie Renner Free Ride Tour went really good. Fuel T.V. was there to capture the action and the riding was epic. Local riders Nathan Woods and Jessie Nelson both made appearances at Pismo Beach Dunes along with FreeRideMX’s Steve Haughelstine and of course Ronnie Renner. The Oceano Dunes are kind of a small area of dunes with a lot of riding area fenced off and half buried metal stakes and wire fence that seemed to be kind of dangerous skewers sticking up out of the sand all over the place. Things like metal stakes and rusted old fencing left by conservationists make me wonder if the conservationists are actually making the landscape worse than if it was open to the public for riding. I seem to see crap like this more and more everywhere I go. Not only is rusted old fencing sticking up out of the sand dangerous for even a hiker, but it is ugly as hell. All in all the dune setting on the beach was the ultimate setting for a conclusion to the more than fun Red Bull Free Ride tour.
