Solo Mission
March 05 2009
This is the 3rd solo video I have made. It is a real test of confidence in yourself to ride all alone, and can be scary at times, but I feel as though my work is progressing, you be the judge. by: Steve Haughelstine
Well, I can say that filming myself is a lot of work!! Moving the camera all over the place, packing, unpacking, moving to different locations, but when it is all done and edited, It is worth the work, for me at least, and I hope for you too. This next location is a spot that not many people know about, and I don’t know why because it is still in Ocotillo Wells OHV area, only north, way north. The location doesn’t have as many jumps as the south spot, but it has lots of sweet canyons and cliffs, a trail riders haven, and a perfect location for my next Solo Mission….

Here is a video I slapped together from yesterdays practice sesh at Renners house where Aussie young gun Jackson “Jacko” Strong showed up to ride with Mr. Renner. There was a bit of a side breeze blowing, but the boys still ripped it up past sundown. check em out…
Off to the races, well not really…

Lets go to Montana and see what pops up. by: Steve Haughelstine
Well I had been talking about it, and I finally did it. I spent some time up in Montana helping Coy Cooper, and Keith Sayers with a little MOTO park called “Racetrack.” I know, sounds cheesy, but I really think that Racetrack is the best name for the place. Reason #1: the exit from the highway is called racetrack. Reason #2: when the course is done, it will be possible to do laps around the entire thing. Reason #3: this will be the only FMX course the same length as a motocross racetrack!! Well, we did a lot of work in the 2 weeks that I was there, and we still have plenty of work to do. In the pics below, the course is a little over 1/2 way done! I cant wait to get back up there and do some more work. We have some very good ideas for the place, and you can be assured that they will be different. ALSO: a very special thank you to Heath Cooper and the whole Cooper family. Without cool people like them, “Racetrack” wouldn’t be possible. I will keep you all updated on this place, as some interesting things will be happening here.

Sayers testing out the crisp Montana air.
