Still the best dune segment ever made….
Every time I watch this video it gives me a fuzzy happy feeling. Pat Solomon did the best job ever done of capturing the actual feeling of riding a dirt bike in the dunes. I will shut up now…just watch the best dune segment ever made.

OLD SCHOOL AND STILL BAD ASS

I remember being a kid riding BMX and being into Dirt Bike videos, I didn’t even get a dirt bike until the age of 14. Dirt bike videos are what got me wanting to ride in the first place. The guys in the videos were a combo of top racers and freeriders. It was an era of our sport that should never be forgotten. Everyone remembers the Crusty Demons of Dirt, but some of the greatest videos seem to have been forgotten. One of my favorite dirt bike film makers of all time is Pat Solomon he made many of the early videos including, “SMP Disturbing the Peace”, “Organ Donors”, and even helped on the very first Crusty video. His creative angles and pure Cinematography always made me want to go out and ride. Here’s to the Old School, strait from 1996, Lets just ride….
